According to the latest data from the consumer price index, the price of Swedish clothing and footwear rose in July and August (2017).
In July and August this year, the consumer price index, clothing prices rose by 6.8%; while footwear is up 2.6%. Among them, the ladies coat rose nearly 19%, men's sweater also rose by 20%.
But from the 12 month index of the year, clothing prices still fell by 1.5%; footwear also fell by 3.4%. In fact, the price of shoes since 2015 has dropped by 0.2%; and the clothing is roughly 1.7% rise.
In terms of overall consumer prices, the consumer index in August is still down by 0.2%.
